DETONATORS PYROTECHNIC

DETONADORES NÃO ELÉCTRICOS

It is a non-electric detonator comprising a detonator and an inner plastic tube coated with a reactive substance.

There are six types of non-electric detonators:

- Nonel,

- Connectors,

- Detonator tunnel LP.

Usage situation - this system can be used in the work open pit and underground.

Handling and application - can not be used in rooms containing coal dust

DETONADORES ELÉCTRICOS

There are three types of electric detonators :

- Sensitive
- Insensitive
- Highly insensitive

Description

S - Sensitive type detonators have been designed especially for use in places where there is no danger of static, erratic, or radiofrequency induced currents.

They are used with a length of wire from two meters and can be increased up to a meter by meter maximum length of 20 meters.

I - detonators insensitive type are good for pits of accidental ignition. Detonators of this type is suitable for all cases that, although not anticipated the existence of dangerous sources of energy, it is desired to have a greater margin of safety.

They are manufactured with capsules of aluminum or copper. Are used with a wire length of 2, 3 or 4 meters.

AI - detonators highly insensitive type considerably reduce the risk of fire and self premature ignition of the same.

It is used with a wire length of 4 meters.

Use situations - work in open pit and underground, in the absence of thunderstorms or erratic currents.
