FIL - International Exhibition of Luanda
02/12/2013The 30th edition of the Luanda International Fair (FILDA), held from 16-21 July has shown the direction in which the country should follow, because the expectations were surpassed, as said by the Angolan economist Afonso Chipepe.
Speaking to ANGOP, Afonso Chipepe said that after the results of the event it becomes necessary to treat and equate the size of when and how much the country wants to achieve with its participation in the free market scenario of the Southern African Development Community (SADC ), from which was announced the accession of Angola starting in 2014.
"From an economic perspective, the country has exceeded expectations and its growth is well visible," he stated.
Incidentally, it is important to mention that this year, FILDA registered a participation of more than one thousand companies against 700 in 2012 representing 35 countries.
The fair closed with an exhibitor’s satisfaction indicator around 90 percent, according to data provided by the organization.
The event held under the motto "The challenges of attracting investment," featured representations of the sectors of construction, information technology, light/heavy industries, oil, trade, consulting, real estate, energy/gas and equipments.
